I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Board Certified Art Therapist, Certified Child & Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP), and Certified Domestic Violence Counselor, who specializes in helping children and young adults with social, emotional, and cognitive challenges, as well as, helping people cope with:

People with these conditions often have a hard time coping with social challenges, self-esteem, and expressing what they are thinking and feeling to peers and family. They often struggle forming and maintaining meaningful relationships; as a result, they tend to isolate or have unfulfilling social worlds. My mission is to help these individuals improve their self-esteem, social skills, build and strengthen relationships with others, and to become more successful in their ability to cope with personal and social challenges. When applied, these skills can lead to greater success in school, work, and independent living. I strive to achieve these goals through a range of both innovative and evidence-based approaches, including individual and group Art Therapy sessions, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, integrative therapy,  structured social and Self-Actualizing groups, as well as, school, career, and personal/team and organizational counseling. I also offer a group for young men focused on social skills development, an Art Therapy group for co-ed teens who are interested in animation, character design, writing and story development, as well as, a group for young adults who desire to strive for Self-Actualization. My work with each client is informed by an in-depth evaluation of their needs, strengths, goals and interests. I recognize that the children, teens, and young adults I serve are individuals, and tailor the therapeutic approaches to be as unique as they are.

I welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your goals, the goals of your child, or anyone whose well-being you are concerned about.
